Tevora’s Restaurant Roundtable Focuses on Mobile Devices in Retail


Tevora’s Quarterly Restaurant Roundtable will bring together experts in implementing and securing mobile devices in the retail setting on Wednesday, November 5, at 11 a.m. at the Microsoft Training Center, 3 Park Plaza in Irvine, CA.

The networking and education event will feature lunch from The Habit Burger Truck, enabling attendees to get an up-close look at improved customer experience and operational efficiencies The Habit has created with their mobile strategy, while enjoying lunch.

A roundtable and Q and A session will follow speakers with extensive experience in retail IT. John Coyne, Sr. Business Evangelist at Microsoft, will focus on Software Trends in Retail, specifically, Microsoft initiatives around streamlining payment processing, Touch-First OS and Windows 10 and retail from an executive perspective.

Chris O’Malley, Director of Mobility Marketing, Internet of Things Group, Intel Corporation, will explore driving improved customer experience with the flexibility of mobile tablet/POS solutions, and security solutions and operational advantages to creating a mobile workforce, in his presentation, Why Mobility in Retail.

Phil Crosby, Solutions Architect for Mobile Workforce Management, Dell, will delve into PCI Compliance via Systems and Device Management, including creating strong security solutions to protect both business and cardholder information, and maintaining PCI compliance using fundamental systems management methodologies.
