Irvine, CA – June 25, 2019 – Tevora, a leading cybersecurity consulting firm, today announced it has attained International Standards Organization (ISO) 27001 and 27017 security certifications.
“Achieving these certifications demonstrates Tevora’s unwavering commitment to the security of our clients’ information,” said CEO Ray Zadjmool. “It’s another way we are pushing the envelope and differentiating Tevora from competitors by staying at the forefront of our clients’ needs.”
ISO 27001 is a comprehensive and widely accepted international standard outlining best practices for information security management systems. To obtain certification for compliance with this standard, Tevora underwent a rigorous audit by BSI, the leading ISO registrar.
ISO 27017 is a set of information security controls based on ISO/IEC 27017 for cloud services, which means this standard is built upon the existing security controls of ISO 27002.
“While some organizations are content to implement ISO 27001 without obtaining certification, it was important for us to go the extra mile to become certified,” said Christina Whiting, Managing Director of Risk and Compliance at Tevora. “This sends a clear message to our clients that protecting their information is critical for us. It also reflects our commitment to the ISO framework, which is the gold standard for our industry.”
