Nazy Fouladirad, President and Chief Operating Officer at Tevora.
What has been your favorite project so far?
I’ve had the opportunity to work on many exciting and challenging projects during my time at Tevora – my favorites have been creating the Project Management Office from the ground up, and leading the re-branding and subsequent launch of the Tevora brand. I also really enjoyed taking part in the strategic planning and implementation of our national expansion.
How do you define success?
George Sheehan said it perfectly: Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be.
Where do you see the cybersecurity industry going in the next ten years?
I’m not very good at predicting the future, but I think cybersecurity will become an even more important aspect of both our personal and business lives, which are so intertwined with every aspect of modern life.
What are the biggest challenges you face being a woman in this industry?
I don’t allow myself to excuse a challenging event as being associated to my sex – I see any adversity as an opportunity to be better prepared in the future to address the challenges I may face head-on.
Best tips to find balance between your work and personal life?
Clearly define your work hours and your family hours and stick to them. During your work hours, prioritize your tasks and don’t waste time, just focus and get it done. During your family hours, outsource the tasks you find tedious (mine are grocery shopping, folding and putting away laundry, and house cleaning) so you can open up time for the stuff that you think has an impact on your life, and brings you joy – your joy will subsequently bring your family the same in return.
