About Carlos Phoenix

Carlos is a security executive with strong Compliance, SecDevOps, SDLC, and Security Architecture experience as a product CISO at VMware. He has executive roles at Vmware, Coalfire, KPMG, Cognizant and Celerity (founder).

Carlos brings 20 years of experience in cybersecurity (IT audit, security advisory, technology risk assessment, and strategy). He started his career as a Software Developer while obtaining business degrees in Economics and Accounting before joining Deloitte & Touch (Audit and Advisory). His work experience covers all industries and includes international work experience across eight countries and five languages.

Advising clients without technical jargon with a focus on business drivers provides the right level of executive oversight, board updates, and unlocking value to grow the business through smarter security.
