Brian is an Information Security Consultant with the Threat Team at Tevora. He is responsible for conducting penetration tests and assisting the Project Lead in meeting project deadlines and providing required deliverables for projects.
Before joining Tevora, Brian worked as a security engineer providing security assessment services to a wide variety of clients. He has a background as a Linux technician and system administrator. He also served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, reaching the rank of Sergeant (E-5) and performing the duties of an Infantry Squad Leader.
Brian has spent years expanding his technical abilities through security-related competitions, threat research, and through hands-on experimentation in his home lab. His personal research, combined with his experience in conducting a variety of professional assessment services, provide him the depth of knowledge needed to successfully deliver a diverse range of projects. He is credited with discovering and responsibly disclosing CVE-2018-0099 and CVE-2018-6961. Brian currently holds the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification.
NPower creates pathways to economic prosperity by launching digital careers for military veterans and young adults from underserved communities.
In today’s economy, over 50% of all jobs require some degree of technology and digital skill, and this is expected to grow to 77% by 2020 in the U.S. Yet the job market is not keeping pace. Of the nearly 6 million jobs expected to require tech skills in the future, labor statistics project a candidate pool of only 3.2 million.
NPower currently operates in New York, Texas, California, Maryland, Toronto, New Jersey and Missouri
